The Raven Tribe is one of the twelve animal warrior tribes inhabiting Chima. During the first season, they were allies of the Wolf Tribe and the Crocodile Tribe. The Raven Tribe is known primarily as a tribe of thieves and unscrupulous inventors, only caring about making maximum profit at the expense of others. Their underhanded tactics and flight capabilities initially made them rivals of the Eagle Tribe.
With a few exceptions, Raven technology is usually cobbled together from the items and vehicles they steal from the other tribes. To their credit, said technology usually works quite well, as it allowed them to stay competitive in the war for CHI. Their general strategies involve disorienting their victims with hit-and-run tactics and disruptive gadgets before moving in for the attack/steal.
Like most of the "evil" tribes in Chima, the Raven Tribe's CHI energy is usually red. The tribe itself is mainly associated with black and purple, and many of its members have prosthetic limbs or other cybernetic implants.
Ravens Razar accompanied the other heroes to Outlands in season 2 of the TV series and received an updated Minifigure in the summer of 2014 during the conflict with the Ice Hunters.
Description[]
The Ravens are only interested in profit and frugality. They will bribe tribes, then steal items from them and sell them to other animal tribes and the original owners. They will usually talk about thievery and profit.
From Legends of Chima: Character Encyclopedia:
Master thieves, the Ravens are out for one thing only, and that's a healthy profit. They are not prejudiced in who they steal from, targeting friends and foes alike in their quest for financial gain. Most of the other tribes agree that it's best to avoid the Ravens altogether - and if you don't, best check your pockets before leaving their company! There's no honour among these thieves: Ravens have no close friends, not even amongst themselves.

Vehicles[]
From Legends of Chima: Character Encyclopedia :
Razar's CHI Raider[]
Raven vehicles like the CHI Raider lack the grace of the Eagle ones because they are loaded with hoarded junk. The plane itself is a well engineered, advanced piece of kit, but all that tat slows it down.
The CHI Raider gains momentum from flapping wings, rather than jets. It also gains speed from turbines powered by the Raven's CHI. Raven planes are made from durable lightweight material, but, like most Raven objects, its origins are dubious.
Razcal's Glider[]
The precious Raven Glider is swift and highly maneuverable. Reckless pilot Razcal uses it to swoop down on unsuspecting targets and grab their valuables before they have a chance to blink! Its wings can be spread wide for gliding or pulled in for sudden nose-dives.
Swinging low from the back of the Glider is a grabber on a long chain, used for snatching stolen goods. It can also tangle up pursuers long enough for Razcal to make his getaway - or capture them for ransom if needs be!
Battle[]
From Legends of Chima: Character Encyclopedia
CHI[]
Selling CHI brings in big profits, so Ravens only use it themselves as a last resort. But when needs must, a CHI Raven is an awesome combatant, with vicious razor-sharp bladed wings and super strength
Weapons[]
Most Raven weapons look oddly familiar. This is because they have been "recycled" or "liberated" from other tribes. For example, the Ravens will swear blind that "Vengjacked" has been theirs for generations even though it's clearly the Crocodiles' Vengious of Honour. The Slashersekt is the only weapon of genuine Raven origin. This weapon is donned by Rawzom, leader of the Raven tribe.
Double Crosser[]
No ground is too rugged for Razcal in his all-terain vehicle, aptly named the Double-Crosser. Speeding into fray and out again, Razcal can "liberate" CHI before anyone has noticed.
Trivia[]
- During season 1, the Raven Tribe was a member of the "villain tribes" or "Rebels", and its members had the symbol shown left on their vehicles and buildings.
- During season 3, the Raven Tribe was a member of the tribes allied with the Phoenix (or "Fire Tribes"), and its members had the symbol shown left on their vehicles and clothes.
- A high majority of the Raven Tribe have prosthetics on their body, ranging from from small piercings or beak implants, to full scale peg-legs and eye patches like Rizzo.
